Job Description
Diamond is seeking a L&D Manager-Club Member Services (Training Manager) to participate in the implementation, organization and planning of training curriculum, materials, and programs to meet specific learning needs. The successful candidate must have knowledge of adult learning principles, formal training methodology, facilitation, and expertise in design and development of multimedia solutions for online job aids and live and self paced training.
Oversight of all training and development project. Includes a range of training topics including new hire product and systems training to performance improvement training to on-going education training for the department.
Includes online, standalone and computer based formats, as well as consultation on outside resources, if needed. Ability to incorporate other social media and online platforms for enhanced training and communication helpful.
Demonstration of solid skills for relationship building and team orientation. Critical within business operations, outside departments and support resources for subject matter expertise, review of content and partnering on business needs identified as related to training. Act as liaison to the business for all Club Operations training matters.
Maintenance and continuous improvement mindset. Continually ensure that training programs are implemented effectively, efficiently, and according to established quality standards. Includes development of assessment tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of training conducted.
Training Support and Management. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to training team members and evaluate the performance of staff by observation, established objectives and measurements and provide constructive feedback on a regular basis. Includes effective scheduling and oversight of team members, related staffing, training rooms and related resources.
Communication and consultative skills. Analysis of data and ability to communicate status of training, share insight on effectiveness and improvement and provide recommendation for next steps. Flexibility shown in proactive communications and reporting to various tiers of the organization, including senior level management to line level.
High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor\\\'s degree or equivalent work experience
Two (2) or more years working in a supervisory role in a training department (including hiring, staff development, and related management responsibilities)
Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles, formal instructional design and development
Experience in educational technology including hands on development of online learning, as well oversight of computer based training platforms
Up to 75% travel
Instructional Technology/Educational Technology LMS and related CBT and learning software applications and platforms
Previous Call Center training experience
